The purpose of this study is to assess the eco-efficiency of rockfish sea-cage aquaculture facility. For this purpose, two representative rockfish sea-cage aquaculture facilities are selected and life cycle assessment is performed to figure out environmental impacts in their production process and economic value is used by service life about each of sea-cage aquaculture facilities. As a result, seaworthiness polyethylene sea-cage aquaculture facility is better than wooden cage aquaculture facility about eco-efficiency in all selected environmental impact categories(global warming, resource consumption, eutrophication, aquatic ecotoxicity). Especially, Factor value results about global warming(1.444.E+02 kg-CO₂ eq.), resource consumption (1.902.E+02 kg-Sb eq.), eutrophication(1.176.E+01 kg-PO₄3- eq.), aquatic ecotoxicity(3.338.E+02 kg-benzene water eq.) are shown seaworthiness polyethylene cage aquaculture facility is more environmentally and economically sustainable.
