The Effects of Corporate Sustainable Management and Innovation Types of Ventures on Innovation Capability in a Local Region: Evidence from South Korea

  • 8

This study explores the role of corporate sustainable management (CSM), and environmental, social, and economic responsibilities in determining a venture firm’s innovation capability through technical, marketing and managerial innovations. Based on 1,043 samples collected from ventures in a local region of South Korea, a structural equation modeling (SEM) method was used. The results show that technical, marketing and managerial innovation activities significantly contribute to improving enterprise innovation capability, while these activities are themselves improved by the factors of CSM activities. However, no relationship was found between technical innovation and social responsibility. Both key findings and implications are presented.
