초등학교 고학년의 학교부적응 및 지각된 사회적 지지와 우울과의 관계: 사회적 지지원과 심리사회적 지지의 매개효과를 중심으로

The Relationship between Perceived Social Support, School Maladjustment and Depression of Higher Grade Students of Elementary School: Focused on Mediating Effects of Social Support from Personal and Psycho-social Capitals

본 연구는 초등학교 고학년의 학교부적응과 지각된 사회적 지지가 우울에 미치는 영향을 알아보고, 학교부적응이 우울에 미치는 영향에서 지각된 사회적지지가 매개역할을 하는가를 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구는 2018년 4월부터 6월까지 약 3개월 간 서울 강북 지역에 위치한 11개의 초등학교에 재학 중인 4, 5, 6학년을 대상으로 자기보고식 설문조사로 진행하였으며, 총 1008부를 분석에 사용하였다. 초등학교 고학년의 학교부적응 및 지각된 사회적 지지와 우울과의 관계를 살펴보기 위하여 회귀 분석을 사용하였으며, 지각한 사회적지지가 학교부적응과 우울과의 관계에서 매개효과가 있는가를 검증하기 위해서 Baron과 Kenny(1986)가 제시한 위계적 회귀분석을 이용한 후, Sobel test를 통해서 유의성을 검증하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등학교 고학년의 학교부적응(학교활동, 규칙, 교사외의 관계)는 우울에 직접적인 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 초등학교 고학년이 지각한 사회적 지지는 우울에 부적 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 사회적 지지는 초등학교 고학년의 학교부적응과 우울 사이에서 유의미한 매개효과를 가졌다. 이와 같은 결과로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점을 논의하였다.

This research investigated the mediating effects of perceived social support, focused on social support from persons and psycho-social support from persons, between school maladjustment and depression on higher grade students of elementary school, South Korea. The higher grade elementary students(aged 11 to 13) in Seoul were participated in the survey for this research. Total 1008 were analysed using SPSS 23.0 and used a correlation and regression analyses, proposed by Baron and Kenny(1986), to estimate the relationship between research variables. The results were as follows; First, there is a significant correlation among school mal-adjustment, perceived social support, and depression on higher grade elementary students. Second, perceived social support from persons was mediated between school maladjustment and depression. And psycho-social support as types of social support was also mediated between them. Based on these findings, the limitations and implications of this research were discussed.
