The Jeju marine ranching is a artificial habitat established in 2014 in order to activate fishing villages around Hankyung in Jeju. It was estimated by an economic evaluation method that there would exist a significant impact on the tourism services of fishing villages. However, a survey of tourists reported that the use of some facilities in the Jeju marine ranching is insufficient. It is necessary to analyze the impact on tourism on the comprehensive aspect. In this paper, keyword mentions on blogs is used to evaluate the Jeju marine ranching impact on tourism. We analyzed keywords pertaining to eight Jeju representative marine sightseeing spots on recent 5 years blog. Using HP(Hodrick–Prescott) filter, we removed trends and examined the correlation between the interest volatility of each tourist attractions. It was found that the interest of Jeju marine ranching is growing gradually and there is a significant correlation with the volatility of interest in the nearby tourist attractions. It is hard to say that the Jeju marine ranching is a successful business model in terms of tourism. Nevertheless, with the observed correlation between the Jeju marine ranching and the tourist attractions in western part of Jeju, the Jeju marine ranching should be considered to be in an important position in terms of tourism policy and geography.
