칠판 활용 강의에 대한 질적 사례 연구: 교육대학교 초등국어교육 관련 강좌를 중심으로

A Case Study on Experience of Teaching-learning Using Blackboard: Focused on the Course on Elementary Korean Language Education at the University of Education

최근 들어 교수 이론이 풍부하게 제공되고 있고 교구, 교재 등 교육 관련 환경이 많이 변했음에도 대학교 강의의 모습은 크게 변하지 않고 있다. 본 연구에서는 연구자가 초등교사 양성대학의 초등국어교육 관련 강의 과정에서 칠판을 활용한 것이 학습자들에게 어떤 변화를 야기했는지에 대해 살펴보았다. 연구 결과를 요약하여 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 강의실에 칠판을 설치한 것이 학습자들이 학습 활동에 참여하고 싶은 욕구가 생기도록 하는 데 긍정적으로 기여하였다. ‘구경’하는 모습에서 ‘참여’하는 모습으로 학습자들의 모습이 변하였다. 둘째, 칠판이라는 도구가 새로운 맥락을 형성하고 그 맥락에 의해 학습자의 인지 행위가 달라지고 자연스럽게 학습자의 역할이 달라졌으며, 학습자의 과제가 변화되었다. 셋째, 칠판이라는 도구의 배치로 인해 학습자의 모습이 구경꾼의 모습에서 참여자의 모습으로 변하고, 학습자의 역할이 지식 소비자 역할에서 지식 프로슈머의 역할로 변하였으며, 동료의 역할이 학번 동기에서 학습 동료로 변하였다. 이런 변화의 출발점은 도구의 변화이다. 이제는 대학 강의실의 모습도 변화가 필요하다. 첨단 물리적 도구가 배치되어 이를 사용하여 강의 내용 전달을 더 효율적으로 하는 모습에서 학습자들의 사고력을 키우고 적극적으로 학습 활동에 참여하는 데 필요한 도구가 배치되는 방식으로 변해야 한다. 도구의 배치가 학습자의 역할을 바꾼다.

Even nowadays, university lectures have not changed much, although extensive range of teaching theories have been provided and much progress has been made in education-related environments such as educational tools and textbooks. In this study, the researcher reviewed the changes in learners caused by using blackboards in the course of primary language education lectures at primary school teachers’ education universities. . In summary, the results of the study are presented as follows: First, it was confirmed that having a blackboard in the classroom contributed positively to boosting the desire of learners to participate in learning activities. From ‘watching’ to ‘participating’, the learners have changed. Second, the blackboard as a tool formed a new context. As the context changed the learner’s cognitive behavior, naturally it changed the learner’s role and the learner’s task. Third, having a blackboard as a tool for learning, the learners engagement changed from observers to the participants, the learner’s role changed from the knowledge consumers to knowledge prosumers, and the peer’s role changed from just students in the class to study partners. The starting point of all these changesis the change of the tools. Now, the appearance of university classrooms also needs to change. It should adopt advanced physical tools and use them to better communicate the content of the lecture, to make changes ito adopt the tools needed to increase learners’ thinking power and hep them actively participate in learning activities. Tool placement changes the learner’s role.
