조선 전기 茶詩 속에 담긴 風流 정신 연구

A Study on the Thought of Pungryu in the Tea Poetry of the Early Joseon Dynasty

우리 선조들이 수련과 덕을 쌓아 얻으려고 했던 궁극적인 목적은 정신적인 행복과 건강한 삶이었으며 이를 위해 차는 아주 중요한 방편으로 사용되어 왔다. 차인들은 자연과 벗하며 즐기는 풍류 정신이 내재된 차 생활을 하며 그 정신세계와 차 문화를 발전시켰다. 선조들의 차 생활은 특히 다시(茶詩)와 같은 문학작품에 잘 나타나있는데, 다시 속에는 선조 차인들의 차에 대한 애정과 차에 대한 정신세계가 형상화되어 있기 때문이다. 본 연구는 조선 전기 차인들의 풍류 정신이 다시 속에 어떻게 표출되었는지 알아보고자 한다. 조선 전기 차인들의 풍류적 의미를 세 가지로 나누어 다시 속에 표현된 풍류를 살펴보았다. 첫째, 선비들이 신선(神仙)같은 삶을 지향하여 자연과 더불어 차를 즐기며 사는 자연 동화적 풍류, 둘째, 소박한 생활 속에서 즐거움을 찾는 안빈낙도의 풍류, 셋째, 차를 통해 덕을 연마하며 자기 인격 수양에 노력하는 심신 수양적 풍류 정신으로 구분하였다. 조선 전기 차인들이 드높여온 풍류 정신은 지금의 많은 차인들에게 차의 덕성과 같이 깨끗하고 어진 마음으로, 올바른 자신의 신념에 따라, 욕심을 버리고 자연과 더불어 살아가는 것이 진정 참된 삶이라는 가르침을 전해준다.

The ultimate purpose of our forefathers efforts to train the mind and the body and virtue was spiritual well-being and a healthy life, and tea has been used as a very important way of doing this. Tea lovers have developed the spirit and culture of tea by enjoying the innate feng shui of nature. The tea life of our ancestors is especially well represented in literary works such as Tea Poetry. This is because in the Tea Poetry, our ancestors’ love of tea and the spiritual world for them are depicted. This study seeks to find out how the Thought of Pungryu of Tea Poetry from the early Joseon Dynasty s Tea lovers was expressed in the Tea Poetry. We divided the meaning of Pungryu of the early Joseon Dynasty into three categories and looked at the Pungryu expressed in the Tea Poetry. First, the natural-friendly Pungryu, where seonbi live with nature toward a life like a Taoist hermit and enjoy their tea, Second, Ahnbinrakdo s Pungryu to find joy in a simple life, Third, the mind and body cultivation Pungryu ideas of honing virtue and striving to cultivate one s character emerged through tea. According to his right beliefs, it teaches him that abandoning greed and living with nature is a true life.
