보육교사의 인성과 아동권리인식 간의 관계

The Relationship between Childcare Teacher’s Personality and Child’s Rights Awareness

이 연구는 보육교사의 인성이 아동권리인식에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해서 실시되었다. K지역의 2019년 6~7월의 보육교사 보수교육에 참여한 세 개 반 134명을 대상으로 보육교사 인성과 아동권리인식 검사를 실시하였다. 보육교사의 인성과 아동권리인식의 관계를 알아보기 위하여 Pearson 적률상관계수를 사용하여 분석하였으며, 보육교사의 인성이 아동권리인식에 미치는 영향력을 알아보기 위해서 중다회귀 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 보육교사의 인성과 아동권리인식은 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 보육교사의 인성은 아동권리인식에 대해 24%를 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 보육교사 인성 중 하위요인인 정서인식과 소명감이 유의미한 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타나 보육교사의 인성 중 정서인식과 소명감이 아동권리인식을 예측하는 주요한 요인임을 알 수 있다. 따라서 보육교사의 정서인식과 소명감이 높을수록 영유아의 권리를 인식하는 수준이 높아지는 것으로 예측할 수 있다. 이 연구결과를 통해서, 보육교사의 인성 요인 중에서도 소명감과 정서인식이 영향을 미친다는 결과를 통해서 교사로서의 전문 직업적인 의식이 인성에 많은 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있고, 보다 체계적이고 실제적인 인성교육의 필요성이 드러났다고 볼 수 있다. 또한 아동권리인식 향상을 위해서는 교사의 핵심적인 인성교육의 당위성과 절대성을 강조하는 계기가 될 것으로 기대한다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of childcare teachers personality on child rights awareness. A inspection was conducted on 134 teachers who participated in the curriculum for child care teachers in K area in June~July 2019. Pearson correlation coefficient was used to examine the relationship between childcare teacher s personality and child rights awareness. A multiple regression analysis was conducted to investigate the influence of childcare teacher s personality on child rights awareness. The results showed that there was a positive correlation between the personality of child care teachers and the awareness of children s rights. And the personality of the childcare teachers accounted for 24% of children s awareness of rights. The emotional perception and the sense of belonging, which are sub-factors of childcare teachers personality, have a significant effect. Therefore, it can be predicted that the higher the awareness and sense of emotions of child care teachers, the higher the recognition level of infants rights. Through the results of this study, it can be seen that the professional and professional consciousness as a teacher has a great influence on the personality through the result that the sense of calling and emotional perception affects the personality factors of the childcare teacher. And the need for more systematic and practical character education is revealed. In addition, it is expected that it will be an opportunity to emphasize the legitimacy and absoluteness of the core character education of teachers in order to raise the awareness of children s rights.
