50+ 세대의 문화예술교육 활동 제약 요인에 관한 탐색적 연구

An Exploratory Study on Constraint Variables of Arts and Cultural Education Activities to 50+ Generation

본 연구의 목적은 50+ 세대의 문화예술교육 활동 참여를 저해하는 일상 속 제약요인들을 심층적으로 탐색하는 것에 있다. 이를 위해 2018년 1월부터 2월까지 문화예술교육 활동의 ‘소극적 참여자’ 및 ‘전문가(프로그램 운영자, 강사, 정책 전문가 등)’ 집단을 섭외하여 초점집단면접(Focus Group Interview)과 반구조화된 개별 심층면담을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 50+ 세대의 문화예술교육 활동을 저해하는 요인에는 ‘낮은 접근성(시간, 재정, 건강문제)’, ‘참여가능한 문화예술교육 활동 프로그램의 부족’, ‘문화예술교육 관련 선행 경험의 결여’ 등이 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 이는 문화예술교육 활동에 대한 50+ 세대의 시간적·지리적 접근성 확보, 현실적인 경제적 지원, 50+ 세대의 발달 및 생애주기 특성과 문화·예술적 요구를 반영한 맞춤형 교육 콘텐츠 개발, 다양한 홍보 및 소구 전략 구축에의 필요성을 시사한다.

The purpose of this exploratory study is to explore constraint variables in the field of arts and cultural education activities, and to provide future strategic suggestions which strengthening the cultural capacity among the 50+ generation. The results of perceived constraint variables, which were based on FGI and individual interviews, by passive participants and experts are as follow. The passive participants state absolute constraint variables (finance, time and health), shortage in number of available programs, accessibility, and voluntary nonparticipation as the constraint variables. The expert perceived absolute constraint variables(finance and time), and lack of opportunity in experienced previous exposure as constraint variables in arts and cultural education activities of 50+ generation.
