Application of Fourth Industrial Revolution Technology and Expected Effect in Private Security

4차 산업혁명의 도래는 우리 사회 전반의 많은 변화를 가져올 것으로 예상되고 있다. 민간경비 산업의 전망은 4차 산업혁명과 관련하여 긍정적, 부정적 견해가 다양하게 나타나고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 4차 산업혁명과 주요 기술을 살펴보고, 민간경비로의 적용과 기대효과를 논의하는데 목적이 있다. 4차 산업혁명에서 나타나는 주요 변화로는 초지능화(Hyper-Intelligence), 초연결화(Hyper-Connectivity), 초감성화(Hyper-Emotion), 초융합화(Hyper- Fusion)를 들 수 있다. 또한 ICT(Information & Communication Technology)가 산업·서비스 간 융합의 핵심적 수단으로 나타나고 있으며 이는 민간경비 영역에서 활용이 가능하다고 판단되었다. 4차 산업혁명 기술의 적용을 통해 예상되는 기대효과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 고객 요구에 적합한 민간경비의 전문성을 강화할 수 있다. 둘째, 기술·사이버 보안 영역으로의 서비스를 제공할 수 있다. 셋째, 시나리오 중심의 민간경비원 교육으로 현재의 장애 요소를 극복할 수 있다. 넷째, 안전산업을 중심으로 한 지역사회 네트워크 구축이 가능하다.

The entry of the Fourth Industrial Revolution is expected to bring about many changes in the whole society. Prospects of the private security industry are diversified in positive and negative views in relation to the fourth industrial revolution. In this study, there is a purpose to discuss the application to the private security and the expected effect, looking at the fourth industrial revolution and major technologies. Major changes include Hyper-Intelligence, Hyper-Connectivity, Hyper-Emotion, and Hyper-Fusion in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. In addition, information & communication technology (ICT) has emerged as a key means of convergence between industries and services, and it can be used in the field of private security. The effects expected from the application of the fourth industrial revolution technology are as follows. First, it can strengthen the professionalism of private security that is suitable for customer s needs. Second, the service can be provided in the area of technology and cyber-security. Third, it is possible to overcome the current obstacles through scenario-oriented private security guard training. Fourth, the community network can be constructed by focusing on the safety industry.
