민간경비 관련 사업체에 대한 탐색 연구

Exploration Research on Actual Conditions of Private Security Businesses

본 연구는 경비 및 경호 서비스업, 보안시스템 서비스업, 탐정 및 조사 서비스업 등 경비, 경호 및 탐정업에 대한 종단연구 중심의 탐색연구를 통해 이들 산업의 주요 현황을 이해하는 자료를 제시하는데 그목적이 있다. 이를 통해 민간경비 산업이 물리보안, 정보보호 등 융합보안의 핵심산업으로 부상할 수 있는 토대를 마련하는데 그 의의가 있다. 본 연구의 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 창업부터 시작하여 중견 이상 회사법인으로 성장할 수 있는선순환 구조를 완성하여 경비, 경호 및 탐정 관련 사업체의 안정적인운영을 위한 조직 규모 확대가 필요하다. 둘째, 경비 및 경호 서비스업, 보안시스템 서비스업, 탐정 및 조사서비스업 등 경비, 경호 및 탐정업(총괄)의 임시 및 일용근로자를 상용근로자로 편입하여 안정적인 근무여건을 조성하여 관련 종사자 지위향상을 강화해야 할 것이다. 셋째, 경비, 경호 및 탐정업이 안보, 치안, 안전 분야에 있어서 중요역할을 담당하고 있으므로 관련 학계 및 사업체에서는 전문성 제고 차원에서 정부 차원의 사업체 분류체계 확립을 도모해야 할 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to propose actual data for understanding security industry using longitudinal analysis on guard, protection and detective businesses, such as, protection and detective service, security system service, detective and research service. The significance of this study is to suggest baseline data that private security companies can emerge as a key industry in convergence security. The results of this study are as follows. First, organizational scale-up is required for reliable operation of the guard, protection and detective businesses through completing a virtuous cycle that private business can grow into corporations. Second, we have to create stable working environment that temporary and daily workers can transfer to regular workers of the guard, protection and detective businesses for expecting their higher status. Third, academia and business related security have to promote establishment of business classification scheme of government in order to ensure professionalism because the guard, protection and detective businesses plays a critical role in safety field, such as security, safety.
