전문대 유아교육과 학생들의 핵심역량 변화에 대한 종단적 연구: B대학교 유아교육과를 중심으로

A Longitudinal Study on the Change in the K-CESA Core Competencies of the Early Childhood Education Department at junior college

본 논문은 2년에 걸친 종단적 연구설계를 통해 전문대 유아교육과 학생들의 핵심역량 특성의 변화를 분석하는 것을 목표로 한다. 2018년과 2019년 매년 12월 조사를 실시하였으며, 2개 연도에 걸쳐 수도권의 B전문대학 유아교육과 학생들을 대상으로 K-CESA의 4개 영역, 자기관리역량, 대인관계역량, 자원정보기술의 활용역량, 글로벌역량에 대한 검사를 실시하여, 동일 학생들을 활용한 종단적 데이터셋을 구축하였다. 먼저 횡단적 단순 비교결과를 보면, B전문대학 유아교육과 학생들은 직업의식과 대인관계역량 등이 이전 연도보다 높아진 것으로 나타나고 있다. 동일 학생을 활용한 종단적 분석 결과를 보면, 유아교육과 교육과정을 이수한 재학생들의 경우 작년보다 직업의식과 대인관계역량 점수가 높아지고 있는 것을 볼 수 있었다. 2학년이 되면서는 대인관계역량이 높아졌고, 3학년이 되면서는 글로벌역량이 높아졌다. 그러나 졸업생의 경우에는 오히려 직업의식 점수가 낮아지고, 역량이 전반적으로 떨어지는 것으로 분석되었다. 이를 바탕으로 하여 유아교육과 졸업생들의 취업의 질 제고, 자원정보기술역량의 향상 등이 필요함을 제언하였다.

This paper aims to analyze changes in the characteristics of the core competences of students and in the education of specialized universities through two years of end-to-end research design. Over the two years, we conducted an examination of the four areas of K-CESA, self-managing capabilities, interpersonal skills, and resource information technology, and global capabilities to establish an end-to-end dataset using the same students. First of all, simple cross-sectional comparison results show that the students in B college s Early Childhood Education department have higher job consciousness and interpersonal skills. The results of an end-to-end analysis using the same students showed that students with higher job awareness and interpersonal skills than they did last year. In the second grade, interpersonal skills increased, and in the third grade, global capabilities increased. However, it has been analyzed that graduates have lower job consciousness scores and generally lower their ability. Based on this, suggestions for quality of child education and employment of graduates and suggestions for improvement of resource information technology skills were presented.
