예비유아교사의 정서지능이 교사창의성에 미치는 영향에서 교사효능감의 매개효과

Mediating Effects of Teacher Efficacy on the Influence of Emotional Intelligence on Teacher Creativity of Pre-service Early Childhood Teachers

본 연구는 예비유아교사의 정서지능과 교사효능감이 교사창의성에 미치는 영향을 확인하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 그리고 정서지능과 교사창의성의 관계에서 교사효능감의 매개효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 연구 목적의 달성을 위해, 전라북도 소재 대학에서 유아교육을 전공하고 있는 대학생 180명을 연구 대상으로 하였고, 구조방정식 모델을 적용하여 연구모형을 분석하였다. 매개효과의 유의성 검증에는 부트스트래핑 분석 방법을 적용하였다. 연구결과, 예비유아교사의 정서지능, 교사효능감, 교사창의성과 각 하위요인들 사이에 모두 정적인 상관관계가 있었다. 예비유아교사의 정서지능은 교사창의성과 교사효능감에 정적 인 영향을 주었으며, 교사효능감은 교사창의성에 정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 정서지능이 교사 효능감을 통해 교사창의성에 미치는 간접효과는 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 예비유아교사의 정서지능과 교사효능감을 높이고 교원양성과정을 개선하여, 이들의 전공역량을 강화할 수 있는 방안에 대한 제언을 하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of emotional intelligence and teacher efficacy on teacher creativity of pre-service early childhood teachers and the mediating effect of emotional intelligence on teacher creativity mediated by teacher efficacy also. In order to achieve research objectives, 180 students majoring in Early Childhood Education at a college in Jeollabuk province were selected as subjects. The research model was analyzed by applying the Structural Equation Model. The Bootstrapping Analysis Method was applied to verify the significance of the mediating effect. The results showed that there were positive correlations between emotional intelligence, teacher creativity and teacher efficacy, and there were also positive correlations between sub-factors of these factors. Emotional intelligence of pre-service early childhood teachers had positive effects on teacher creativity and teacher efficacy, and teacher efficacy had a positive effect on teacher creativity. The indirect effect of emotional intelligence on teacher creativity through teacher efficacy was significant. Finally, suggestions were made on ways to enhance the emotional intelligence and teacher efficacy of pre-school teachers and improve the teacher training process, thus strengthening their major competencies.
