보육관련 교과목 이수가 예비보육교사의 전문성 자기평가 수준에 미치는 영향

The Effect of Pre-service Childcare Teacher’s Completion of Childcare Related Subjects on Self-evaluating Professionalism

이 연구의 목적은 예비보육교사들의 보육관련 변인에 따른 전문성 자기평가 수준에 차이가 있는지 알아보고, 보육관련 교과목의 이수가 전문성 전체 및 하위변인에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 확인하는 것이다. 이를 위해 서울과 경기권의 대학교 6곳에서 보육교사 자격증 관련 과목을 수강하는 대학생들을 대상으로 수집한 총 358부의 설문지를 최종분석하였다. 통계분석을 위해 IBM SPSS 25.0을 사용하여 독립변인 t-test와 일원분산분석, 반복측정 분산분석, Duncan 사후검정, pearson 상관분석, 위 계적 중다회귀분석 등을 시행하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 예비보육교사들이 평가한 자신의 보육교사 전문성 점수 평균은 상대적으로 높은 편이나, 하위요인별로 불균형이 나타났다. 둘째, 예비보육교사들의 보육관련 변인에 따른 전문성 평가수준을 살펴본 결과, 성별과 보육 관련 주전공 여부에 따라서는 유의한 차이가나타나지 않았으나, 학년, 자격증 취득의향, 보육관련 교과과목 이수 수준에 따라서는 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, 전문성 세부요인에 따라 영향을 미치는 보육관련 교과목 하위영역이 서로 다르게 나타났다. 이 연구는 전공 교과목의 하위영역과 전문성 하위요소 영역 및 세부항목에 대한 분석을 통해 전체점수에서는 드러나지 않던 실제 교과목의 전문성 향상에의 효과를 살펴보았다는 의의가 있다. 다만 한정된 조 사대상으로 인한 제한점이 있으므로, 이를 보완한 후속연구의 필요성이 제기된다.

The purpose of this study is to find out whether there were differences in the level of professional according to childcare-related variables and how the completion of individual sub-fields of childcare related subjects affected the overall professionalism and sub-factors. Surveys were conducted at six universities in Seoul and Kyonggi-province. We investigated 358 students taking courses related to childcare teacher certification. The data were analyzed by IBM SPSS 25.0, using t-test, one-way ANOVA, repeated ANOVA, Duncan post-hoc test, Pearson s correlation, hierarchical multiple regression. The results of this study are as follows: First, pre-service childcare teacher’s average scores of self-evaluating professionalism are relatively high, however, there were imbalances among sub-fields. Second, as a result of self-evaluating professionalism according to childcare-related variables, there were significant differences depending on grade, willingness to obtain certification, and completion of childcare related subjects, but no significant differences depending on gender and majors. Third, the effects of individual sub-fields of childcare related subjects were different among the overall professionalism and sub-factors. As the implication of this study, it indicated the effects of the individual sub-fields on improving professionalism, which was not revealed in the study of overall scores. However, as this study had limitations of the survey period and participants, complementary follow-up research is necessary.
