직장 여성과 전업 남편의 모유수유 경험과 한의사의 역할에 대한 질적 자료가 혼합된 단일 증례 보고

Objectives:Thisstudywasconductedtoinvestigatethecognitionanddifficultiesofa workingwomanand ahousehusband’sbreast-feedingexperienceand theroleofKorean medicinedoctorinthebreast-feedingcounseling. Methods:ParticipantswereaBelgianfatherandaKoreanmother,parentsofainfant breast-fedandtheyvisitedCheongdam InuriKoreanMedicineClinicforthehealthcounseling ofainfant.Theyvisited9timesfrom November26,2016toMay16,2018.Breast-feeding counselingbyaKoreanmedicinedoctorwasconductedinordertoencouragebreast-feeding, andtheresultwascollectedasqualitativedata. Results:Parentshaddifficultiesandquestionsaboutbreast-feeding.Therewerelackof milkduringmixedfeedingandababy’srefusaltoformulamilk.Also,therewerequestions abouttheproperamountoffeedingandthethingthatainfanttriestogetmilkwhile sleeping.Parentsvisitedthecliniceverytimetheyhaddifficultiesandquestionsandfelt relieved by receivingcounselingand correspondingtreatment.Ultimately,therewasan extensionofthebreast-feedingperiodabouteightmonths. Conclusions:Thisstudysuggeststhatthebreast-feedingcounselingbyKoreanmedicine doctorcanbevaluableoptiontopromotebreast-feedinginworkingwomen’sfamily.
