Theterm “Hyeoljunggiche(血中氣滯)”hasbeenusedasanetiologicalfactorofmenstrualdiseases.Hyeoljunggichemostlydescribedmenstrual diseasesoffemalesinthereproductiveages.FourofthemostpopularprescriptionwereJeungsonojeok-san(增損五積散),Hyeonbuigyeong-tang (玄附理經湯),Hyeonbuiyeong-jeon(玄附理營煎),andHyeonbuohwa-eum (玄附五和飮).Bywritingamedicinalherbnetworkofthefourprescriptions, ItwasfoundthatKim Young-hunpreferredtousethreeclustersofregulatingqiandmovebloodmedicinal(理氣行血藥),sānwù-tāng(三物湯), andpíngchén-tāng(平陳湯)withsomeadjustmentofheat-clearingmedicinal(淸熱藥)andcold-dispellingmedicinal(溫裏藥).
