ForthepurposeofsearchingexaminationintheconnectionwithclinicalmedicineandthebasictheoryofKoreanMedicine,wecomparatively studiedonthephysiologicalsystem ofHyun-Gok(1912~ 1987)andtheHyunsangsystem ofJi-San(1927~ 2000).Theresultsareasfollows. Themetabolism ofYinandYangisconnected‘Gallbladder(膽)’-‘Bladder(膀胱)’andMan(男),Woman(女),Oldaged(老),Youngchild(小) style.ManandWomanaredividedinthebodyform chacteristicnotbythesex.‘Gallbladder(膽)’-‘Bladder(膀胱)’stylearedividedinthe bodyform chacteristicbythetermsofYin(陰)andYang(陽).‘Gallbladder(膽)’stylerepresentsexcessiveYanganddeficientYin,‘Bladder (膀胱)’stylerepresentsexcessiveYinand deficientYang.Thefourcompositionfactorofthebodyisconnected Materialbasis(精)type, Vitalenergy(氣)type,Mentalfaculties(神)typeandBlood(血)type.Inthediagnosisofbodyform ontheHyungsangMedicine,thereare severaltypesofbodyshapeandcategoriesofpeople.TheMaterialbasis(精)type,Vitalenergy(氣)type,Mentalfaculties(神)typeand Blood(血)typeareclassifiedbythefourcompositionfactorofthebody.
