사고와 표현 통합교육을 위한 교재 개발 연구

Development of Teaching Materials for Integrated Education of Thinking and Expression - Focused on 「Thinking and Expression1 」in Seowon University -

본고에서는 사고와 표현 교육의 활성화 방안을 위한 일환으로써 서원대학교의 「사고와 표현1」 교재를 분석하였다. 먼저 「사고와 표현1」의 교재 개발 흐름을 살펴봄으로써 교재 구성의 방향성을 확인하였고, 이후 2018년 개정판을 중심으로 특징과 남은 과제에 대해 분석 정리하였다. 본 대학의 「사고와 표현1」 교재를 검토한 바, 2005년부터 시작된 교재 개편 방 향은 학제적 접근을 근간으로 하여 읽기&#8228;사고하기&#8228;쓰기의 접점을 찾고 이를 구현하고 체계화하는 데 집중되어 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그리하여 서원대학교의 <사고와 표현> 교과의 목표와 교육 방향은 사고력과 의사소통능력을 함양하는 데 있다는 것을 확인하였다. 2018년 5차 개정된 교재에서는 첫째, 이론과 실전이라는 이원체제를 그대로 유 지하되, 크게 사고(T), 읽기(R), 쓰기(E)의 3영역 간 통합적 활동이 가능하도록 배치되고 구성되었다. 둘째, 사고와 글쓰기 이론을 체계화함으로써 실전 활용 시 용이하도록 하였다. 셋째, 각 장마다 예문과 연습문제를 대폭 삽입함으로써 보다 쉽게 사고하고 표현할 수 있도록 하는 학습자 중심 교육을 지향하고 있었다. 향후 교재 개발은 현행 사고와 표현 교육의 병렬적 연계에서 한 단계 나아가 이들 영역의 융합적 통합이 이루어져야 한다는 결론에 이르렀다.

This study analyzed the textbooks of 「Thinking and Expression1 」at Seowon University as a part of the way of activating thinking and expression education. First, the direction of the composition of the textbook was confirmed by looking at the trend of textbook development of 「Thinking and Expression1 」, and then the features and limitations were analyzed in the revised edition in 2018. Based on the review of the 「Thinking and Expression1 」textbooks, it can be seen that the direction of the textbook reorganization that began in 2005 is focused on finding, establishing and systematizing the joint point of reading, thinking and writing based on the interdisciplinary approach. Therefore, it was confirmed that the aim and education direction of <Thinking and Expression> in Seowon University is focused on developing thinking ability and communication ability. In the fifth revision of the textbook in 2018, first, the dual system of theory and practice should be maintained, but the integration of the three areas of thinking (T), reading (R), and writing was possible. Second, I systemized the thinking and writing theories to make it easier to use them. Third, each lecture was aimed at learner-centered education which makes it easier to think and express by inserting examples and exercises. In the future, the development of the textbooks has led to the conclusion that convergent integration of these areas should be advanced one step further from the parallel connection of current thinking and expression education.
