드라마 대본에 나타난‘ -겠-’ 결합형 화행 의미 실현 양상 연구

A Study on Meaning Realization Aspects of the speech act of Compound Sentence Pattern ‘-gess-(-겠-)’ in Drama Script

본고는 TV 드라마 대본에 나타나는 ‘-겠-’ 결합형 문형을 의문문과 평서문으로 나누어 그 용법과 간접화행의 조건을 세분하여 의미 실현 양상을 고찰하였다. 한국어 학습자들이 교재에서 제시한 학습만으로는 일상 생활에서 해소하기 어려운 문제를 겪게 된다는 점에 주목하여 드라마 대본에 나타난‘-겠-’ 결합형 문형들이 간접화행으로 어떻게 실현이 되는가를 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 의문문에서의 ‘-겠-’ 결합형 화행 문형을 분석한 결과, ‘-겠-’의 의미는 [추측]과 [평가(또는 의견)]의 형태가 출현 횟수가 많았으며, 평서문에서의 ‘-겠-’ 결합형 화행 문형 특징은, ‘-겠-’의 용법 가운데 [의지]와 [추측]의 형태가 두드러졌다. 한편, 간접화행은 의문문에서는 ‘진술’ 화행은 주로 발화한 명제 내용에 대하여 ‘표명’하기 위한 장치로 쓰였고, ‘지시’ 화행은 화자의 공손한 태도를 보이거나 우회적으로 표현하기 위해 수행된 것으로 나타났으며 평서문에서는 ‘지시’와 ‘청유’의 두 형태로 수행된 것을 발견하였으며, 간접화행보다는 직접 화행으로 수행되는 경우가 많음을 보여주었다. ‘-겠-’은 초급 1급부터 학습하게 되는 선어말어미로 단계 별로 다른 의미와 용법을 학습하게 된다. 문장에서 쓰인 선어말어미 ‘-겠-’의 단독형 의미만을 교수하는 것이 아니라 ‘-겠-’ 결합형 문형을 담화 상황에 맞게 교수해야 한다고 판단하여 본고는, 담화 상황 별로 ‘-겠-’ 결합형 화행 의미 실현이 어떠한가를 살펴보았다. 본고는 실제 한국인들이 사용하는 드라마 대본의 담화 분석을 통해 한국어 말하기·듣기 교육의 기초 연구의 토대를 제공하였다고 할 수 있다.

This study investigates the aspects of pragmatic functions and the application condition of the speech of compound sentence pattern ‘-겠-’ by studying the scripts of recent Korean TV dramas. Generally, foreign students of basic level understand complicatedly use of ‘-겠-’ on the Korean grammar. Especially, this ‘-겠-’ is that they learn not only their basic level but also advance level from intermediate level. Because Korea shows wide variety of the functions at conversation in their real life. There are a lot of pragmatic functions of ‘-겠-’ in the scripts of recent Korean TV dramas. Above all things, ‘-겠-’ is not only expression of one s will or guess. Therefore this paper shows various functions of ‘-겠-’ on the indirect speech act from Koreans real conversation. The objectives of this paper are as follows. First, ‘-겠-’ reveals much more periphrasis than of one’s guess or will. Second, this paper suggests Compound Sentence Patterns of ‘-겠-’ through indirect speech acts in Korean. To empirically verify that this is right, this paper is analyzed recent Korean scripts by Korea broadcasting Press.
