디죠지 증후군 아동의 과제 중심 치료가 전반적 발달 수준과 사회성숙도에 미치는 영향

The Effects of Task-Oriented Training to Pervasive Developmental Level and Social Maturity of DiGeorge Syndrome: A Single Subject Design

목적: 과제 중심 치료를 통해 디죠지 증후군 아동의 전반적인 발달 수준과 사회성숙도에 미치는 영향을 밝히고자 하였다. 방법: 본 연구는 단일 대상 연구인 행동간 중다 기초선 설계를 적용하였다. 중재는 인지, 소근육, 대근육에 대한 과제 중심 치료로 진행하였다. 기초선과 중재기의 모든 회기에서 각 과제 기반 영역에 대한 평가를 실시하였으며, 전후 평가로는 전반적 발달 수준과 사회 성숙도에 대한 평가를 진행하였다. 각 회기의 평가 결과와 전후 평가 결과는 시각적 분석과 경향선 분석을 통해 중재 효과를 비교하였다. 결과: 과제 기반 영역별 평가 결과, 인지 영역과 대근육 영역에서는 기초선에 비해서 중재기간에 평균 정반응 수가 증가하여 경향선의 기울기가 급격하게 증가하였다. 그러나 소근육 영역에서는 기초선과 중재기간에서 모두 수행을 하지 못하여 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 중재 전후 평가 결과, 전반적 발달 수준과 사회 성숙도의 모든 영역에서 중재 후에 점수가 증가하였다. 결론: 디죠지 증후군 아동에게 과제 중심 치료는 과제기반 영역 및 전반적인 발달 수준과 사회성숙도에 긍정적인 영향을 주며, 작업치료의 적용 가능성을 확인하였다.

We examined the effects of task-oriented training to the pervasive developmental level and social maturity of DiGeorge syndrome. We applied a single-subject, multiple-baseline across the behavioral design. The intervention proceeded with task-oriented training for cognitive, gross motor, fine motor. In all sessions of the baseline and the intervening period, each task-oriented area was evaluated, and the pre-post evaluation was conducted on the pervasive developmental level and social maturity. The evaluation results of each session and the pre-post evaluation results were compared through visual analysis and trend line analysis. In the results of the task-oriented evaluation, the inclination of the trend line increased drastically in the cognitive and gross motor areas, because the average number of correct responses increased during the intervention period compared to the baseline. However, there was no difference in the fine motor area because it could not be performed at both the baseline and the intervention period. In the results of the pre-post evaluation, scores increased after intervention in all areas of pervasive developmental level and social maturity. Task-oriented training in children with DiGeorge syndrome has positive effects on task-based areas, pervasive developmental levels and social maturity, and the research has confirmed the applicability of occupational therapy.
