시와 후퇴적 상상력

Poems and Regressive Imagination - Focusing on exemplary texts in German poetry

이 연구는 후퇴적 상상력의 기본구조가 작가와 시대에 따라서 어떻게 다른 양상으로 나타나는가에 주안점을 두고 이루어졌다. 그리피우스의「저녁」을 중심으로 하는 바로크의 시, 횔덜린의 「저녁환상」을 중심으로 하는 낭만주의 의 시, 벤의「노래」를 중심으로 하는 표현주의와 모더니즘의 시가 그러한 관점에서의 중요한 고찰대상이었다. 이 3가지 범례 텍스트를 중심으로 한 고찰에서 시대 상황과 함께, 바로크시대에서 현대에 이르는 시인 의식의 변화를 탐색할 수 있었다. 바로크적 허무주의와 종교적 귀의, 낭만주의적 고립과 환상적 이상향, 표현주의를 포함한 모더니즘의 자아해체와 원초상태로의 환원욕구는 이 탐색과정에서 찾은 핵심 사항이라 할 수 있다. 동시에 이 과정에서 시인 의식의 변화와 후퇴적 상상력의 변화가 어떤 긴밀한 유동적인 관계를 지니고 있는가도 확인할 수 있었다.

This study focuses on how the basic structure of regressive imagination appears in different aspects of German poetry according to the writer and the period. Baroque poems centering on A. Gryphius s 「Evening」, romantic poems centering on 「the evening illusions」of F. Höderlin, poems of expressionism and modernism centering on G. Benn s 「Songs」are important considerations in this regard. In these three exemplary texts, this study explored the changes in each poet‘s consciousness from Baroque to present Modernism. Key findings include Baroque nihilism and religious awakening, romantic isolation and fantasy idealism, modernism including expressionism and its desire to return to a primitive state.
