2015 개정 교육과정에 근거한 중학교 기술·가정 교과서의 핵심 개념 ‘관계’ 단원 내용 분석

Analysis of the Units Related to Core Concept ‘Relation’ in Middle School Technology-Home Economics Textbooks based on the 2015 Revised Curriculum

본 연구의 목적은 중학교 기술·가정교과서를 2015 개정 교육과정의 인간발달과 가족 영역 중 핵심개념 ‘관계’를 중심으로 분석하는 것이다. 5종 출판사의 ‘중학교 기술·가정 2’가 분석에 사용되었고, 핵심개념 ‘관계’ 관련 단원의 내용구성, 목표, 성취기준 그리고 교수·학습방법을 2015 개정 교육과정의 기준으로 분석하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대단원명은 대부분 ‘가족의 이해’로 사용하고 있었으며 ‘관계’ 영역은 교과서의 13.1%에서 17.9%의 비중을 차지하였다. 둘째, 인간발달과 가족 영역의 목표 중 가족관계에 대한 이해와 관계형성 능력 증진의 목표가 주로 포함되어 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 학습활동을 통해 성취기준을 달성하도록 구성되어 있었으며, 문제해결 교수·학습 방법과 협동 중심 교수·학습 방법이 주로 활용되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과를 토대로 중학교 기술·가정교과서 내 핵심개념 ‘관계’ 단원에 대한 추후 개선 방안을 논의 하였다.

Learner-centered education, even though being recognized as the most adequate educational environment, has been rather vaguely and diversely understood and interpreted among the practitioners in the educational fields. This study aims to analysis units of the middle school Technology-Home Economics textbook related to the core concept ‘Relation’ based on the 2015 revised curriculum. The subjects were 5 textbooks from the twelve middle school ‘Technology-Home Economics’ textbooks. The results of this study were as follow: First, most textbook used ‘understanding the family’ as a chapter name. Second, 5 textbooks include goals of understanding of family relationships and relationship building. Also, various activities help students accomplish achievement standards of 2015 revised curriculum. Problem solving and cooperation focused teaching-learning methods were used the most. Based on the findings, future direction for the textbooks and Technology-Home Economics textbook contents analysis were provided.
