초등학생의 진로개발역량에 대한 예측변인 분석

Predictors of Career Development Competency of Elementary School Children: Focused on Interpersonal Relationship, Life-long Learning, and Life Management Competency

본 연구의 목적은 초등학생의 진로개발역량을 예측함에 있어 대인관계역량, 생애학습역량 및 생활관리역량의 상대적 기여도를 검증하는 데 있다. 이를 위하여, 본 연구에서는 한국청소년정책연구원의 한국청소년데이터 아카이브에 탑재된 자료 중 초등학생에 대한 자료를 활용하였다. 조사에 응답한 초등학생 수는 총 3,627명이었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 3,627명에 대한 자료를 바탕으로 SPSS 23.0을 활용하여 측정도구의 신뢰도, 주요 변인들의 기술통계 및 상관계수를 산출하고, 위계적 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 모든 변인들 간에는 유의미한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 대인관계역량, 생애학습역량 및 생활관리역량이 높을수록 진로개발역량을 높음을 의미한다. 둘째, 위계적 다중회귀분석 결과에서는 대인관계역량, 생애학습역량 및 생활관리역량 순으로 진로개발역량을 예측하였다. 진로개발역량의 하위변인인 진로설계, 개척정신 및 여가활용에 대한 상대적 기여도 분석 결과에서도 대인관계역량, 생애학습역량 및 생활관리역량 순으로 진로 개발역량을 예측하였다. 본 연구에서는 이 결과에 대해 논의하고 시사점을 제시하였다.

This study intends to verify the relative contribution of South Korean elementary school students’ interpersonal relationship, life-long learning, and life management competency in predicting their career development competency. For this purpose, we extracted data in relation to elementary school students from “A Study on Measurement of Korean Youth Competency and International Comparative Study III (2016)” of National Youth Policy Institute. Participants in the survey are a total of 3,627. Subsequently, we calculated the reliability of scales and descriptive statistics of the main variables and then performed correlation analyses between the main variables and then hierarchical multiple regression with SPSS version 23.0. The results were as follows. First, there were significant positive correlations between interpersonal relationship, life-long learning, life management, and career development competency. Second, interpersonal relationship, life-long learning, and life management competency made a significant prediction for career development competency and its sub-variables in order of interpersonal relationship, life-long learning, and life management competency. The present research discusses these findings’ implications with the previous works.
