대학생의 진로장벽과 진로적응성의 관계

The relationship between perceived barriers and career adaptability of college students: Testing the Mediation effects of dysfunctional career thought and intolerance of uncertainty

본 연구는 대학생이 지각하는 진로장벽과 진로적응성간의 관계에서 역기능적 진로사고와 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족이 매개효과를 지니는 지 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 2018년 6월 온라인 리서치 패널업체를 통해 일주일간 352명의 대학생을 표집하여 연구를 수행한 결과 역기능적 진로사고는 매개효과를 지녔으나, 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족은 매개효과를 나타내지 않았다. 다만, 역기능적 진로사고를 거처 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족이 진로적응성에 영향을 미침은 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 진로장벽을 지각하는 대학생들의 진로적응성을 돕기 위해서는 역기능적 사고에 대한 개입이 필수적임을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of dysfunctional career thought and intolerance of uncertainty in the relationship between career barriers and career adaptability perceived by university students. To this end, in June 2018, 352 college students were recruited for a week through an online research panel company. The results of the study showed that dysfunctional career thoughts had a mediating effect, but lack of endurance to uncertainty did not. However, it was confirmed that the lack of endurance to uncertainty influenced career adaptability through dysfunctional career thoughts. Therefore, it suggests that intervention for dysfunctional thoughts is essential to help career adaptability of college students who perceive career barriers.
