Objective: This study attempted to analyze the effect of improving balance ability by varying the contraction time and frequency in the isometric core program. Method: This study was applied to the core muscle exercise program for 6 weeks, divided into high strength low frequency group(HSLFG), low strength high frequency group(LSHFG), and no intervention group(CG).The movements of the high strength low frequency group(HSLFG) and the low strength high frequency group(LSHFG) were the same, but the ratio of contraction and relaxation was applied differently. Results: In the high strength low frequency group(HSLFG), the static balance ability and the dynamic balance ability showed statistically significant differences on the right and left sides. In the low strength high frequency group(LSHFG), there was a statistically significant difference on the left side for both static balance ability and dynamic balance ability. In the no intervention group(CG), there was no statistically significant difference in both static balance ability and dynamic balance ability. Conclusion: High strength low frequency exercise was more effective in improving balance ability than low strength high frequency exercise and no intervention group(CG). Further research is needed to explain the effect of exercise program on the ratio of contraction time and frequency to the subjects.
