Miniaturization of Antenna and Resonator for Wireless Sensor Node Using Knot Theory

  • 71

In this study, an antenna and resonator miniaturization method for a wireless sensor node is applied to a quasi-Moebius structure. In this structure, the quasi-Moebius strip is circumscribed at least once by removing the antenna and parasitic element at resonance. Graphene and carbon composite materials are utilized to miniaturize the antennas and the wireless power transmission resonators. According to the proposed miniaturization method that is based on knot theory, the effect of the process is determined by applying flexible materials such as graphene and carbon composite. In addition, the control of the miniaturization effect and quality factor of the antenna and the resonator due to the increase in the rotation angle, and the number of cuts in each ring of the existing Quasi Moebius Strip, is obtained.
