지적 및 발달장애학생의 생태학적 교육과정 개발을 위한 생활영역별 일상생활기술의 연계 및 통합 체계 구성

Constructing a Connective and Integrated Structure of Daily Living Skills based on the Ecological Environment for the Development of Ecological Curriculum for Students with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

특수교육은 궁극적으로 장애학생의 잠재능력을 최대한 개발하여 현재와 미래의 다양한 생태학적 환경에서 독립적인 삶을 추구한다. 이를 위한 생태학적 교육과정은 가정, 학교, 지역사회, 직장 등 다양한 생태학적 생활환경에서 필요한 일상생활기술을 지속적이고, 연계적이며, 통합적으로 가르쳐 실제 삶으로의 일반화를 강조한다. 따라서 본 연구는 생태학적 생활영역별 일상생활기술을 다양한 생활영역과 연계 및 통합하여 가르칠 수 있는 체계를 구성하는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 생활영역별 일상생활기술을 연계 및 통합할 수 있는 핵심키워드 333개를 추출하였고, 이를 중심으로 생활영역별 일상생활기술 67개를 연계하고 통합하여 가르칠 수 있는 체계를 구성하였다. 이러한 결과는 생활영역별 일상생활기술을 연계적이고 통합적으로 지도할 수 있는 생태학적 교육과정을 구체적으로 개발하는 데 핵심체계로 적용될 것이다. 또한 생태학적 환경의 생활영역 일상생활기술을 주제로 하는 구체적인 교수·학습 프로그램 개발도 가능할 수 있을 것이다.

Special education ultimately aims to improve independent lives of students with disabilities not only in the present school settings but also in future adult life environments. The ecological curriculum becomes an indispensable part of special education to teach students with intellectual and developmental disabilities daily living skills continuously, connectively and integrally in various ecological living environments, such as homes, schools, communities and work places. The purpose of this study was to construct a connective and integrated structure of life skills based on the ecological environments for the development of ecological education curriculum for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Therefore 333 important keywords (that is, essential components of the ecological education curriculum) were extracted that can connect and integrate daily living skills one another according to various living areas. Based on this keywords, a connective and integrated structure of 67 daily living skills was organized. These results can be used as the basis of the development of ecological curriculum that can guide the daily living skills by living areas in a connected and integrated way. In addition, it can be used in developing teaching-learning programs of life skills for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities to increase their independent living abilities in various living areas.
