중국 해외 대리구매의 문제점 및 발전방안에 관한 연구

A Study on the Problems and Development Plans of Overseas Purchasing Agent in China

Purpose - In recent years, cross-platform and cross-regional international consumption modes, such as “overseas purchasing agent” and “overseas shopping”, have rapidly spread and developed into a popular consumption mode in China. The main purpose of this study is to analyze the current situation of overseas purchasing agent in China, and how to solve and avoid the risks. Design/methodology/approach - This study reviews and analyzes a substantial amount of prior domestic and foreign first research, using the statistical data of China’s e-commerce research center to conduct in-depth research on China’s overseas purchasing agent. Findings - Survey results show the Chinese consumer market has gradually diversified with the rapid development of the economy. On one hand, it has promoted diversified market demand in China. The huge profits of purchasing agent have led to the development of overseas purchasing agent, which has brought a lot of convenience to domestic consumers and promoted the development of the Chinese economy. But on the other hand, China’s current laws do not have clear regulations on overseas purchasing agent. Due to imperfect laws and regulations, illegal activities in overseas purchasing agent frequently occur and thus many legal issues must be addressed by what the law stipulates. Research implications or Originality - This paper presents the problems and risks that Chinese overseas shopping agent has to deal with when purchasing overseas. It likewise demonstrates the need to improve in China’s overseas purchasing agent laws and regulations.
