A Study on the Improvement of Export Logistics for the Expansion of Agricultural Export By Fresh-cut Products

Purpose - This research aims to present the results of the research on current problems and improvement measures in terms of logistics functions for expanding the export of agricultural products to overseas markets. Design/methodology/approach - This study was written based on the literature study and utilized statistics and internet data at home and abroad. Findings - First, the expansion of cold logistics facilities and the establishment of systematic operation management regulations. Second, establishment of fresh logistics storage and inventory management system by using information and communication technology. Third, increase investment for research and development of fresh-cut products. Fourth, fostering and establishing certification bodies and systems for export of fresh-cut products. Fifth, a cooperative center for the development of technologies in the leading maintenance field is established and conditions are prepared for joint research by the central government, local governments and industry-academic associations with related technologies. Research implications or Originality - This research is significant in suggesting a new direction for agricultural exports by suggesting measures to improve export logistics to expand the export market of fresh-cut products.
