창의성 있는 기술과 아이디어의 집적물인 획기적인 Patent는 기업과 국가를 소생시키는 열쇠라고 말할 수 있다. 기업들이 나아갈 방향은 분명하며 아이디어와 기술은 경쟁력과 돈이라는 경영진 모두가Patent의 자각과 확립이 필요하다고 하겠다. 앞으로 경영진들은 구태의연한 기술구매에 앞장 설 것이 아니라 전략적 Patent 기술에 대한 사고의 전환과 과감한 투자와 개발이 있어야 함은 물론, 특허의 연구ㆍ투자개발 이전에 철저한 사전 Patent검색으로 중복연구로 인한 비용과 노력의 낭비가 없도록 이의 법적인제반문제와 연구결과물의 신속한 권리화를 독려하고, 기술 및 연구개발 투자를 늘려야 할 것이다. 기업 내에서도 지속적으로 전 종업원에게 Patent교육실시를 수시로 시행하여 어느 누구든 평범한 일상생활에서의 아이디어와 창의력 제안은 곧 Patent 마인드의 생활화로 형성되어 나아가 획기적이며 재산가치가 있는 「기술상품」을 개발하는데 결정적인 역할을 할 수 있다는 것을 대학 및 사내교육을 통해 이루어져야 할 것이다. 선진 경제대국들의 무차별하고 냉정한 Patent무기화 정책에 적히 대항하여 다량의 Patent기술개발과 이의 철저한 합법적인 권리취득과 행사에 만전을 기하여야 할 것이다.

If the examiner cannot find a reason to refuse the application, the examiner’s office sends a notice of the patent decision to the applicant, and once the registration fee is paid, the patent becomes active due to the already-established registration. The patent fee (1-3 years’ worth) must be paid within 3 months from the day the applicant receives the copy of the patent decision. Patent rights can be enforced via both criminal and civil channels. Patent projects and relating researchers, as well as the related parties of a corporation must eliminate the passive and imitational attitude, and harbor the determination and conduct to establish the result of research as a <technological product> that possesses high asset value.
