대학생이 지각하는 모-자녀 갈등이 진로정체감에 미치는 영향

The Effects of Mother-Child Conflicts among College Students on Career Identity: Mediating Effects of Psychological Independence and Self-Identity

본 연구에서는 대학생이 지각하는 모-자녀 갈등과 진로정체감 간의 관계를 심리적 독립과 자아정체감의 매개하는지를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해, 4년제 대학교에 재학 중인 대학생 316명을 대상으로 2018년 5월 2일부터 5월 22일까지 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석방법으로는 구조방정식모형 분석을 적용하였으며 다음과 같은 연구결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 모-자녀 갈등은 심리적 독립과 자아정체감을 부적으로 유의미하게 예측하였다. 둘째, 심리적 독립은 자아정체감과 진로정체감을 정적으로 유의미하게 예측하였다. 셋째, 자아정체감은 진로정체감을 정적으로 유의미하게 예측하였다. 넷째, 모-자녀 갈등과 진로정체감 간의 관계를 심리적 독립이 완전매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 모-자녀 갈등과 진로정체감 간의 관계를 자아정체감이 완전매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 본 연구는 대학생의 진로정체감 향상을 위해 어머니와 자녀 간의 관계 향상이 요구되며 심리적 독립과 자아정체감을 확립할 수 있도록 돕는 중재 프로그램의 개발이 필요함을 시사하였다.

The purpose of this study was to confirm the effects of mother-child conflicts among college students on career identity. To achieve the purpose of the study, an online survey was conducted for 316 university students from May 2 to May 22, 2018. As the analysis method, structural equation model analysis was applied. The following is the result of this study. First, mother-child conflict was negatively significant with psychological independence and self-identity. Second, psychological independence is positively significant with self-identity and career identity. Third, self-identity was significantly positive to with career identity. Fourth, psychological independence completely mediated the relationship between parent-child conflict and career identity. Fifth, self-identity strongly mediated the relationship between mother-child conflict and career identity. As a result, this study suggests that the relationship between mother and child is required to improve the career identity of college students and the development of intervention program to support establish psychological independence and self-identity was necessary.
