연산이남 연문화 토제예기의 변천과 지역성

The changes and regionality of the pottery ritual vessel of Yan-Culture in the south Yanshan Mountain

본 연구는 연나라 지역 내의 물질문화라고 하면 습관적으로 연하도의 각종 유물과 유구를 떠올리게 되는 연산이남 지역의 지역성을 밝히기 위한 목적으로 진행되었다. 먼저 안정적인 시간성을 확보하기 위해 연산이남 토제예기 부장무덤의 토제예기를 고고학적으로 분석하였다. 특히 개정, 개원호, 개방호, 소구호, 개두, 반, 이 총 7개의 기종을 속성별로 형식분류하여 시간성과 지역성을 반영하는 속성을 구분하고자 하였다. 분석 결과 연산이남 연문화 2기부터 연하도와 북경의 동질성이 강해지며, 기타 지역은 각자의 지역성이 강해지는 것으로 확인되었다. 각 지역별로 지역성이 강하게 존재한다는 것은 연산이남 지역이 연나라가 관할하는 영역이고 그 영역 내 물질문화는 모두 동일할 것이라는 일반적인 추측과는 다른 양상이다. 여기서 연하도·북경은 연나라의 중심지 역할을 하고, 그 주변은 2차 중심지로서 비교적 명확한 구분이 있었다. 그 중에서도 연하도는 핵심지로 명명할 수 있다. 2차 중심지는 지역별로 비교적 독자적인 문화를 형성하여, 소위 연나라의 영역 내에서도 각 지역별로 독자적인 세력이 존재했고 연나라의 중심세력은 이들을 인정하면서 이 지역을 통치한 것으로 보인다. 또한 연하도와 북경을 제외한 일부 지역에도 연산이남 연문화 2기의 늦은 단계부터는 연하도와 동일한 토제예기 부장무덤이 출현하여 중심지(핵심지)의 확산이 고고학적으로 확인되며, 이는 연산이남지역을 연나라의 중심세력이 점차 공고히 장악하는 과정 속에서 나타난 현상으로 판단된다.

When we think of the material culture in the Yan State area, we usually think of the relics of Yanxiadu, but it has not yet to be verified whether the all material culture within Yanshan Mountain is the same. So this article tried to clarify the regionality of the south of Yanshan Mountain. In order to get a stable time relationship, a typological analysis was made on Ding, Yuanhu, Fanghu, Xiaokouhu, Dou, Pan and Yi. According to the analysis, the homogeneity between Yanxiadu and Beijing area gradually became stronger from the second phase of Yan-Culture in the south of Yanshan Mountain, in other regions regionality are gradually become stronger. The strong locality in each region is different from the general conjecture that the south of Yanshan Mountain is the territory controlled by Yan State and that the material culture in that area will all be the same. Yanxiadu and Beijing serve as the center of Yan State, and the surrounding area is a secondary center with relatively clear distinctions. Among them, Yanxiadu can be named as the core. The secondary center formed a relatively independent culture by region, so there were independent forces within the so-called territory of Yan State. The central forces of Yan State seem to have ruled the region in recognition of them. In some areas except Yanxiadu and Beijing, at the second phase of Yan-Culture in the south of Yanshan Mountain also appear the same burial mound as yanxiadu. And the spread of the central area (core location) is archeologically confirmed. This phenomenon is believed to have occurred during the process of the central forces of the Yan State taking a firm grip on the south area of Yanshan Mountain.
