고린도전서 6:12-10:23은 “모든 것을 할 자유가 있다”라는 표어로 inclusio 되어 고린도교회의 현안문제들을 에워싸고 있다. 바울은 그틀에서 ‘성적 자유’(6:12-20), ‘결혼과 성’의 문제(7:1-40), 우상제물을 먹는 문제(8:1-13), 사도직의 문제(9:1-27), 이스라엘의 광야 세대를 따르는 고린도교회(10:1-22)라는 각각의 다른 개별적인 주제를 다룬다. 그러나 이 논문의 목적은 6:12-10:23의 각각의 현안문제들이 서로 다른 주제들임에도 불구하고 모두 ‘자유’에 관한 주제들로 서로 긴밀히 연계되어 있음을 밝히는 것이다. 이 연구는 먼저 본문의 inclusio 형식을 분명히 드러내기 위해 각각의 주제들의 연관성을 주목하고 분석한다. 로마문화의 가치관을 따르는 고린도에 퍼져 있는 자유에 대한 사고체계가 오히려 교회를 위험에 빠뜨리는 요인이 되고 있음을 파악할 수 있다. 이처럼 각각의 현안문제들에서 자유에 대한 연결성으로 보는 관점은 바울이 어떻게 고린도교회의 현안문제들을 해결해 나가며, 교회의 세움을 위해 어떤 대응책을 제시하는지를 논리정연하게 보여준다. 또한 이러한 해석은 그리스도인의 자유에 대한 더 분명하고 설득력 있는 바울의 사유체계를 제공한다.
The Corinthian motto “freedom to do everything” forms the inclusio structure in 6:12 and 10:23, surrounding the issues of the Corinthian church. In the framework, Paul deals with sexual liberty (6:12-20), the problem of ‘marriage and sex’ (7:1-40), the problem of eating idol offerings(8:1-13), apostleship(9:1-27), the wilderness generation of Israel and the Corinthian church(10:1-22). However, the purpose of this paper is to clarify that although each issue of 6:12-10:23 is a different topic, they are all closely related to themes of freedom. For the considering of the clear structure of inclusio, in particular this study notices how to relate each issue, and examines the contents, terms of Text. The thought about freedom in Corinth, following the values of Roman culture, is puts the church at risk. The view to see freedom in each of the current issues offers a clear picture of how Paul resolves the problems of the Corinthian church. The interpretation of the each text provides the more clear and pervasive Paul’s thoght on Christian’ freedom.
