Attitudes toward Aging and Successful Aging of New Middle Ages in Community

본 연구는 신중년 세대의 노화에 대한 태도와 성공적 노화의 인식관계를 점검하였다. 또한 노화에 대한 태도가 성공적 노화와 신중년의 인식과 태도에 영향력을 알아보았다. 그 결과 첫째, 남성의 성공적 노화는 여성에 비해 높게 나타났다. 노년기 이전에 성공적 노화를 준비해야 한다는 점에서 신중년 남성이 주요 관심대상이었다. 둘째, 신중년에 대한 인식은 매우 낮고, 긍정적 지지도 나타나지 않았다. 시기적으로 적절하다는 견해도 없었고, 남녀 모두 신중년의 삶이 안정적으로 유지되기 위해 가장 노력해야 할 주체로 ‘개인’에게 치중하는 경향이 두드러졌다. 이것은 신중년의 삶이 개인의 노력으로 인한 소득이 중요하게 영향을 미치고, 사회보장제도 및 사회적 자본에 대한 인식과 이해, 신뢰가 부족하다는 것을 의미하는 것이다. 셋째, 노화 태도는 성공적인 노화에 유의미한 영향이 있으며, 신중년에 대한 인식 및 태도를 형성하는데 있어 매우 중요한 역할을 하고 있다. 또한 노화에 대한 사회문화적 태도는 자신의 노화경험과 노인에 대한 평가에도 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다.

This study examined aging attitudes and perceptions of successful aging in the cautious generation. We also examined how attitudes toward aging affect the perceptions and attitudes of successful aging and prudent years. First, successful aging in men is higher than in women. The importance of prudential men is reflected in the need to prepare for successful aging before old age. Second, the perception of prudence is very low and there is no positive support. I don t think it s timely. In addition, both men and women believe that individual efforts are important for the stable life of a prudent year. This still means that income from personal efforts is important and there is a lack of awareness, understanding and trust in social security and social capital. Third, aging attitude has a significant effect on successful aging and plays a very important role in shaping awareness and attitude toward prudent years. Socio-cultural attitudes toward aging also affect one s own aging experiences and the assessment of the elderly.
