Fashion Hat Design using Traditional Ayam Shape and Mother-of-pearl Decoration

The purpose of this study is to design and manufacture a hat design suitable for modern day clothes by utilizing the formative features of Ayam and mother-of-pearl decoration. Recently, the concept of fashion hats suitable for Neutro was set for EVERGLOW BEACH. In order to make a hat suitable for daily life TPO, three basic themes, ‘Smart Formal’, ‘Everyday luxury’ and ‘Splendid Vintage’, respectively, correspond to three types of formal, casual and party. I made it as a theme and produced a total of 6 works with 2 points per theme. This study attempts to redesign the hat which can be worn in modern daily life by using traditional female gown Ayam and mother-of-pearl. It will be meaningful as a case study on the fashioning and everydayization of traditional materials, and it is meaningful to stimulate the development of designs using traditional female gowns that have not been activated and to raise public interest by producing works.
