In recent years, I have seen two creative techniques revealed in Yisang’s two early poems “Scenes of Debris-(破片의 景致-)” and “Game Playing of ▽-(▽의 遊戱-)” while I was analyzing the new symbolic images of signs such as two triangles, △ and ▽. One is the Möbius band drawn by the inner consciousness of the poet according to the arrangement of “Scenes of Debris . The other is the fractal phenomenon of mathematics in which the part resembles the whole sequence in the whole arrangement of “Game Playing of ▽ . At first, it seems strange that the creative technique like fractal was latent in it because it is not so well known when the poet Yisang is alive. However, I thought that he could find the new concept (called ‘Julia sets’) published by Julia in 1918 during math classes. Recently, Hyun Soon-young assisted that Yisang’s first volunteer activity in ‘the Circle of Nine(九人會)’ meeting gave a lecture titled Poetry and Forms in ‘Chosun Newspaper Lectures which were held for five days from February 18, 1935. Even if it is difficult to grasp contents of his lecture without data, I can infer the contents of his lecture to some extent. First, by separating “poetry” and “forms” into two words, it may be the intention to talk about the internal or external “form” in the poetry. In this suspicion I would like to point out some unusual points of creative potentiality, strictly speaking, writing techniques that are similar to the fractal phenomenons and to draw the Möbius strips. These two mathematical terms, Fractal and Möbius strip are obviously about forms in his peotry. Therefore, in this article, I will try to create some ’forms’ such as fractal and Möbius band. In particular, in the “The Cold of the Households-(街衢의 추위-)“, I examined the simultaneous presentation of these two writing techniques. This article consists of five sections. In Section 2, I will look at creative techniques that are similar to the fractal phenomenon that is particularly evident in poetry. In Section 3, I will find Mobius strips in his some poems. In the final section 4, I will investigate some visualization and symmetry of symbolic images in poetry, which also seems an inner structure of poetry and form .
