교육에서의 사랑의 구조 및 과정에 관한 모형 탐색

A Reserch on The model for The Structur and Process of Love in Education

정년퇴임기념논문인 ‘교육에서의 사랑의 위치’에서 박중화교수는 인간애로서의 아가페적 사랑과 진리애로서의 에로스적 사랑은 하나의 구조로 통합할 수 있으며, 또한 교육애는 교사와 제자 간의 인격적 교류로 나타난다고 제안하였다. 슈프랑거도 소크라테스의 이성과 페스탈로찌의 인간애를 교사의 사명이라고 하였으며 이러한 교사의 사랑은 인격적 이해로 나타난다고 말했다. 그는 자신의 정신과학적 심리학을 바탕으로 두 가지 사랑을 통합할 수 있는 구조 및 과정을 모형화 하였다. 특히 박중화와 슈프랑거는 에로스적 사랑과 아가페적 사랑 즉 플라톤과 페스탈로찌에만 의존하지 않고, 두 갈래 사랑의 통합구조 및 과정에 관한 이론적 탐구의 가능성을 제안하였다는 점에서 공통점이 크다. 그런데 진리애로서의 에로스적 사랑과 인간애로서의 아가페적 사랑을 하나의 구조로 통합할 수 있다는 박중화의 설명에 따르면 구체적으로 무엇을 준거로 하고 있는가 하는 이론적 문제가 제기된다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 슈프랑거의 교육애를 준거로 박중화의 교육애의 통합모형을 비교· 분석하였다. 박중화의 교육애의 구조 및 과정은 슈프랑거의 교육애의 구조 및 과정에 관한 모형을 준거로 분석될 때에 그 성격이 보다 분명히 규명될 수 있으며 더 나아가 하나의 새로운 모형을 탐색해 볼 수 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 세 가지로 나뉜다. 첫째는 에로스적 사랑과 아가페적 사랑의 통합에 대한 박중화의 설명으로부터 교육애의 구조 및 과정을 먼저 도출해 내는 것이다. 두 번째는 슈프랑거가 제안한 정신과학적 심리학의 특징을 살펴보고 마지막으로 셋째는 슈프랑거가 모형화한 인격적 이해의 구조 및 과정을 준거로 박중화의 교육애의 구조 및 과정을 설명하려는 것이다. 결론에서 박중화의 새로운 모형은 그 중요성과 학교 현장에의 적용성 그리고 인격적 관계의 성격 등 그 의의를 중심으로 간단히 요약·제시된다.

J. H. Park suggested that Eros and Agape in education could be integrated as one and also, that educational love appears as a personal exchange between a teacher and a student. Also, E. Spranger’s educational love means Socrates’s reason and Pestalozzi’s love for the ego. So he has suggested a model for the structure and process of character to explain his educational love on the basis of his own psychology called Verstehende Psychologie. In particular, Park and Spranger have a great common point in that they proposed the possibility of theoretical inquiry on the integrated structure and process of two-pronged love, not relying on erotic love and agape love, that is, Plato and Pestalozzi. However, according to Park s explanation that erotic love as truth and agape love as humanity can be integrated into one structure, the theoretical question is raised as to what is specifically based on. Accordingly, this study is aimed to compare and analyze the integrated model of Park s educational love based on Spranger s educational love. This is because the structure and process of Park’s educational love can be more clearly identified when analyzed based on the model of Spranger s structure and process, and furthermore, a new model can be explored Accordingly, the purpose of this study is three fold. First, this study is aimed to derive the structure and process of educational love from Park’s explanation about Eros and Agape. Second, to review Spranger’s psychology and then to find relationship between the structure and process of Park’s educational love and Spranger’s model for the structure and process of character. In conclusion, the significance of the study, such as the importance of the new model of Park, the applicability in the school field, and the characteristics of the personal relationship, is presented.
