청소년 모바일 메신저 문화에 관한 해석학적 현상학 연구

A Hermeneutic Phenomenological Study on the Youth Mobile Messenger Culture

이 연구의 목적은 청소년 모바일 메신저 문화의 의미를 밝히는 데 있다. 이를 위하여 청소년 모바일 메신저 문화의 사례들과 그 특징을 제시한 다음, 수집된 청소년 모바일 메신저 문화의 사례 및 문헌 자료를 해석학적 현상학 연구’의 분석 절차에 따라 분석하고, 그 의미를 고찰하였다. 연구 결과 청소년 모바일 메신저 문화의 특징은 ‘일상적 소통을 통한 관계 형성 및 유지’, ‘언어 폭력적인’ 특징을 지니고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또 신체성에 의해 드러나는 생활세계는 ‘상대방과 늘 연결되어 소통하는 신체’로, 시간성 및 공간성에 의해 드러나는 생활세계는 ‘현실 공간에서 느낄 수 없는 대화와 자기표현의 즐거움’으로, 관계성에 의해 드러나는 생활세계는 ‘공개적인 상호작용을 통한 관계 형성 및 유지’로 나타났다. 이를 통해 청소년 모바일 메신저 문화는 청소년 교우 관계의 윤활유 역할을 하고, 더불어 사는 세상을 이해하는 틀이 되며, 모바일 공동체를 형성하는 기회의 장이 될 수 있음을 이해할 수 있었다. 반면에 청소년 모바일 메신저 문화는 청소년의 폭력적이고 공격적인 성향이 표출될 수 있는 언어 폭력적인 모바일 의사소통의 수단이 될 수 있다는 한계도 동시에 지니고 있다.

The purpose of this study is to find out the meaning of youth mobile messenger culture. For this, the cases and characteristics of youth mobile messenger culture were suggested, the collected cases and literature materials were analyzed by the analysis process of hermeneutic phenomenological study, and their meanings were considered. The research result showed that the characteristics of youth mobile messenger culture was building and maintaining relationships through everyday communication and linguistic violence . In addition, their life world revealed by physical characteristics was ‘the body that is always connected and communicates with others’ and the life world revealed by temporality and spatiality was ‘the pleasure by talks and self-pression that cannot be felt in reality’, and the life world revealed by relationship was ‘building and maintaining relationships through open interaction’. It suggests that youth mobile messenger culture has the role of youth friendship buffer and helps them understand the world where people living together and can be the place where they form a mobile community. On the other hand, it also can be the linguistic-violent mobile communicative means for youths to express their violence and aggressive instincts.
