대학생의 사회성, 자아존중감이 성인지 감수성에 미치는 영향

A Study on the Effect of Sociality and Self-Esteem of College Students on Gender Sensitivity

본 연구는 대학생의 사회성, 자아존중감, 성인지 감수성과의 관계를 파악하여 성인지감수성에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고자 시도되었다. 연구대상은 대학생 222명을 대상으로, 2019년 5월부터 6월까지 자가 보고식 설문조사로 시행되었다. 수집된 자료는 평균, 표준편차, Pearson correlation coefficient, stepwise multiple regression를 SPSS 19.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구에 대한 결과는 대학생의 사회성과 자아존중감은 현재 이성교제를 하고 있는 경우, 용돈이 많고, 자취를 하며, 외모에 만족하는 경우 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 성인지 감수성은 연령이 낮고, 여성 인 경우 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 또한 사회성과 자아존중감은 유의한 정(+)상관이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 사회성과 자아존중감은 성인지 감수성에 영향을 미치는 변수로 모형의 설명력은 2%로 나타났다. 따라서 사회성과 자아존중감은 성인지 감수성과는 유의미한 상관관계가 없는 것으로 확인되었다. 또한 성인지 감수성은 연령이 낮고 여성의 경우 유의미하였으므로, 성인지 감수성 강화를 위한 프로그램 개발이 필요하며, 나이와 성별을 고려한 적용이 필요하다 할 것이다.

The study is to identify the effect of sociality and self-esteem of college students on gender sensitivity. The survey as self-report study was conducted for 222 college students from May to June 2019. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS 19.0 program for the mean and standard deviation, Pearson correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression. The results of this study showed a significant difference in sociality and self-esteem of college students when currently dating, having lots of allowance, living on one’s own, and being satisfied with one’s appearance. There was significant difference of the gender sensitivity in the lower age and women. In addition, sociality and self-esteem were found to have a significant positive (+) correlation, and gender and age were variables affecting on gender sensitivity and the model explanatory was 16%. Therefore, since gender sensitivity is female and it is significant when the age is low, it is considered that early gender equality education is needed to develop programs to strengthen gender sensitivity considering gender and age.
