열린어린이집 운영에 대한 보육교사의 요구도

Needs of Childcare Teachers for the Operation of Open Daycare Centers

본 연구는 열린어린이집 운영에 대한 보육교사의 요구를 분석하여 열린어린이집의 활성화를 위한 기초자료를 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 보육교사 267명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 보육교사들의 열린어린이집 운영에 대한 요구분석을 위해 대응표본 t-검증, Borich 요구분석, The Locus for Focus 모델의 3단계 분석방법을 활용하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 열린어린이집 운영 경험이 있는 보육교사 들의 최우선적인 요구는 ‘부모의 자발성’이었다. 둘째, 열린어린이집 운영 경험이 없는 보육교사 들의 최우선적인 요구도 ‘부모의 자발성’이었다. 따라서 열린어린이집에 대한 부모참여의 자발성을 높일 수 있는 구체적인 방안에 대한 논의가 이루어져야 할 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the needs of childcare teachers for the operation of open daycare centers in an effort to provide information on the vitalization of open daycare centers. A survey was conducted on 267 childcare teachers, and paired-sample t-test, Borich Needs Assessment Model and the Locus for Focus Model of three stages were utilized to analyze the needs of the childcare teachers. The findings of the study were as follows: First, the childcare teachers who had experience of running a daycare center gave top priority to the spontaneity of parents. Second, the childcare teachers without the experience also gave top priority to the spontaneity of parents. Therefore how to boost the spontaneity of parental participation in open daycare centers should be discussed in detail.
