대학 교양 글쓰기 수업에서 폐쇄형 SNS 활용이 학습만족도에 미치는 영향

The impact of the closed SNS use on learning satisfaction in the liberal Korean education

본 연구는 대학 교양 글쓰기 수업에서 폐쇄형 SNS를 보조 학습도구로 활용할 경우 이러한 SNS 활용이 학습자의 학습만족도에 미치는 효과를 분석하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 분석을 위해 본 연구자는 학습자로 하여금 스마트폰의 밴드 기능을 활용하여 수업 시간 내에 글쓰기를 하도록 하였으며, 밴드의 주요 기능인 게시판, 채팅, 멤버, 투표, 캘린더, 사진 앨범, 피드(feed), 댓글 등을 적극 활용하여 학습자들을 지도하였다. 수업 14주차에 학습자들을 대상으로 폐쇄형 SNS 활용에 관한 설문조사를 실시하였고 설문조사 분석 결과 SNS를 활용한 글쓰기 수업이 학습과정의 편의성, 교수 및 학습자와 학습자 간의 상호 작용성, 정보 공유성 등 학습만족도에 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다.

This study aims to examine the effect of the use of closed SNS, Naver Band, as a learning tool on learning satisfaction in the “Reading & Writing” class, which is the required course of the liberal Korean education at the University. In this study, students practiced writing using Naver Band on their smartphones during the class. The instructor focused on teaching creative and experiential content and short articles, and used Naver Band’s main functions such as bulletin board, chatting, member, poll, calendar, photo album, feed, and comment. For this study, the survey on the use of closed SNS was conducted. The result shows that the course using SNS has a positive effect on learning satisfaction in terms of convenience of learning process, reciprocity and interaction between a learner and an instructor, and sharing information. Learners’ writing to express their creative, open, and personal thought in a limited space was shared and understood by others’ viewpoint. And, the interaction of sympathy experience, which enables users feel their emotion together through comments, was effective in improving learning satisfaction.
