<고전읽기와 토론>강좌에서의 읽기모형 개선 방안

Reading Improvement Model of <Reading Classics of Great Literature> in the class

대학에서 시행되고 있는 <고전읽기와 토론>류의 과목은 사고력과 표현력의 향상을 의도하는 다른 교양과목들과 그 내용 및 성격에서 유사한 면이 있다는 평가를 받아 오면서, 다소 강좌의 정체성에 대한 논란이 있었다. 그리고 고전읽기를 개설하면서 제안되었던 수업모형은 각 단계별 활동이 고전에 수렴되기에 각각 독립적 성격을 가졌다는 한계를 드러내면서 수업에서 읽기모형의 개조가 제기되었다. 이에 본 논문에서는 부산대학교에서 교양과목으로 개설하고 있는 <고전읽기와 토론>강좌 운영을 위한 발전적 대안으로 읽기모형 개선안을 제안하고자 한다. 구체적으로 학생과 교수자를 중심으로 ‘수강 만족도’ 조사를 실시하여 그 결과를 읽기모형 개선에 적용했다. 고전을 다룬다는 것은 융합적 사고를 기르는 방향으로 나아가야 하며, 전문적 직업 지식인을 양성하기 위한 목적에 두어서는 안 된다. 따라서 새롭게 제안되는 고전읽기 모형은 사고력 배양과 융합적 인재상에 부합되는 방향으로 개조되어야 한다. 이에 본고에서도 어떤 문제에 대해 더 깊게 사고하여 다양한 문제를 해결할 수 있는 통섭형 인재 양성을 목적으로 두어 고전읽기의 모형을 개조하고자 했다.

<Reading Classics of Great Literature> of Pusan National University has received evaluations that are similar in content and nature of thinking in other cultural subjects intended to enhance the expressiveness. The identity of the lecture has been constantly debated. And teaching model was proposed and established in the classic reading that revealed each had an independent personality. It will be a limit on the activity for each step in the classical convergence. In this paper, in order to provide a progressive alternative to the <Reading Classics of Great Literature> course contents and operating based on of the reflection and discussion would complement operations. Specifically, it was conducted on the take satisfaction surveys with a focus on students and instructors, and applied the result to the reading model. Dealing with the classics should move in the direction of raising the convergence thinking, and not be in the purpose of cultivating professional career. So newly proposed model of classical reading that should be converted into a direction that is consistent with cultivating thinking abilities and convergence talents. Thus in this paper, tried to convert the model of classical reading for the purpose of placing the consilience Talents by thinking more deeply about an issue to solve a variety of problems.
