This study aims to compare the index of synthesis of non-translated Modern Standard Arabic used in a tbook written by an Arabic author and a geographical textbook of an Algerian high school to translated Arabic language from Korean used on the internet homepages of Daegu Metropolitan City and the Korean.net website, by calculating 5,000 syntactic units for each text. The analysis showed that the index of synthesis of non-translated Modern Standard Arabic language stood at 4.22 and the index of synthesis of translated language stood at 4.16, which means that the non-translated Modern Standard Arabic texts have much more syntactic and morphological information in comparison to the translated Arabic texts. Some educational proposals are suggested; for example, using pronominal reference for stating text participants and using the verb form instead of passive particles in the process of Arabic writing and the Korean-Arabic translation process.
