공과대학생의 직업흥미유형과 지능 및 학업성취도와의 관계

The relationship between vocational interests types, intelligence, and academic achievement of engineering students

본 연구에서는 공과대학생 222명을 대상으로 직업흥미유형과 지능 및 학업성취도와의 관계를 살펴보았다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성별에 따른 차이를 살펴보면, 성별에 따른 직업흥미유형간에는 유의한 차이가 있었다. 성별에 따른 직업흥미유형별 점수에서는 사회형, 사무형, 현장형, 예술형에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 성별에 따른 지능에서는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나지 않았다. 둘째로, 직업흥미유형, 지능, 학업성취도간의 상관관계에서는 개념투사과제가 사업형, 사무형, 현장형, 탐구형, 학업성취도와 유의한 상관이 있었다. 도형유추검사는 사업형, 사무형, 탐구형과 유의한 상관이 있었다. 어휘력은 사무형, 탐구형, 예술형과 유의한 상관이 있었다.

This study explored the relationship vocational interests types, intelligences and academic achievement of engineering students. A survey containing questions about vocational interests types, intelligences and academic achievement was administered to a sample of 222 university students in Daejeon. The results show that among six interests types men and women have significant differences. In six vocational interests types, men and women have significant differences on Social, Conventional, Realistic, and Artistic types. Also there are not significant differences in intelligences measures. The relationships vocational interests types, intelligences, and academic achievement show that there are significant relations between concept projection tasks and Enterprising, Conventional, Realistic, Investigative types and academic achievement. There are significant relations between figure analogy and Enterprising, Conventional and Investigative types. Vocabulary test has significant relations on Conventional, Investigative, and Artistic types.
