전문대생의 그릿(Grit)과 대학생활적응의 관계에서 진로결정 자기효능감의 매개효과

Mediating Effect of Career Decision Self-efficacy in the Relationship between Grit and Adjustment to College of College Students

본 연구에서는 그릿과 대학생활적응의 관계에서 진로결정 자기효능감의 매개효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 2019년 1월 중순 2주가량 설문수집 전문업체를 통해 국내 전국소재 전문대학교 학생을 대상으로 온라인 설문이 이루어졌다. 설문은 그릿(흥미의 지속성, 노력의 꾸준함), 진로결정 자기효능감, 대학생활적응 수준을 측정한 질문으로 구성되어있다. 분석된 자료는 전문대학생 261명(남: 112명, 여 149명)의 응답 자료로, SPSS 21.0 프로그램을 이용하여 상관분석과 위계적 회귀분석을 통해 가설을 검증하였다. 매개효과 검증에 따른 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 그릿의 하위 요인 중, 흥미의 지속성은 진로결정 자기효능감과 유의한 상관 및 직접효과를 보이지 않았다. 둘째, 그릿의 또 다른 하위 요인 중, 노력의 꾸준함과 대학생활적응의 관계에서 진로결정 자기효능감이 부분매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 본 연구는 전문대생의 그릿 중 노력의 꾸준함이 대학생활적응으로 가는 데 진로결정 자기효능감이 중요한 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다.

In this study, we examined the mediating effect of career decision self-efficacy in the relationship between grit and adjustment to college. For the study, 261 students (male: 112, female: 149) from colleges in Korea were tested for grit(perseverance of effort, and consistency of interest), career decision self-efficacy, and adjustment to college. The collected data verified the hypothesis by correlational analysis and hierarchical regression analysis using SPSS 21.0. The results of the study are as follows. First, among the sub-factors of Grit, the consistency of interest did not have a direct effect on the career decision self-efficacy, indicating no medium effect. Second, among other sub-factors of Grit, it was found that the perseverance efforts and the career decision self-efficacy were partly mediated in the relationship between adjustment to college. Through this study, the study confirmed that the steady effort of college students has an important effect on the degree of career decision self-efficacy in adapting to college life.
