부모의 온정적 양육태도와 아동 스마트미디어기기 의존, 집행기능 곤란, 화용언어능력의 구조적 관계 탐색

Structural Relationship among Parental Warmth, Smart-media Dependency, Executive Function Deficit, and Pragmatic Language Ability for Nine-year-old Children

본 연구의 목적은 아버지와 어머니의 온정적 양육태도와 아동의 스마트기기에 대한 의존성, 집행기능 곤란, 화용언어능력 간의 구조적 관계를 탐색하는 데에 있다. 이를 위해 한국아동패널 10차년도(2017년)의 만 9세 아동 1,093명의 데이터를 활용하여 SEM 구조모형 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 아버지의 온정적 양육태도는 아동의 스마트기기 의존성을 낮추고 화용언어능력을 증가시키는 데에 유의미한 영향력을 보였다. 둘째, 어머니의 온정적 양육태도는 스마트기기 의존성과 화용언어능력 외에도, 집행기능 곤란 수준에 대해 유의미한 영향을 가졌다. 셋째, 아동의 스마트기기 의존성은 집행기능 곤란을 증가시키고 화용언어능력에 부정적 영향을 미쳤다. 마지막으로 아동의 집행기능 곤란은 화용언어능력에 부정적 영향을 미치는 것이 확인되었다. 본 연구는 아동 발달에 중요한 역할을 하는 집행기능과 화용언어능력에 대한 부모의 온정적 양육태도의 영향을 확인하고, 스마트기기 의존과 연관 지어 시사점을 제공한다는 데에 의의를 가진다.

The purpose of this study is to explore the structural relationship among parental warmth, children s smart media dependency, executive function deficit, and pragmatic language ability. For this, structural model analysis was carried out by using the data of 1,093 children who participated in the 10th year(2017) survey of Korean Children and Youth Panel. The results of this study are as follows: First, father s warmth attitude had a significant influence on lowering children s dependence on smart media devices and increasing their language skills. Second, mothers affectionate parenting attitude had a significant effect on the level of difficulty in executive functioning, in addition to smart media device dependence and speech language ability. Third, children s dependence on smart media devices increased the difficulty of executive functioning and negatively affected the speech language ability. Finally, it was confirmed that the difficulty of executive functioning had a negative effect on the pragmatic language ability. Based on the results of this study, the discussion and suggestions were suggested.
