결혼 가치관 함양을 위한 가정과 메이커 교육 프로그램 개발 및 효과

The Development and Effect of Home Economics Maker Education Program for Better Marriage Values

본 연구의 목적은 청소년의 결혼 가치관 함양이라는 가정과 교육 목적을 달성하는 방안으로써 메이커교육 방법론을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위해 PDIE의 4단계를 거쳐 6차시의 가정과 메이커 교육 프로그램을 개발해 고등학생 1학년 240명을 대상으로 실행하고, 포커스그룹 인터뷰를 통해 교육적 효과를 살펴보았다. 인터뷰를 통해 도출된 메이커 수업의 효과는 첫째, 학생들은 비물질적인 가치관을 쿠키로 형상해 가는 활동을 통해 추상적인 자신의 결혼관을 구체적으로 정립하는 데 도움이 된다고 하였다. 둘째, 스토리텔링 기반 공유하기 수업은 쿠키를 매개로 자신의 결혼 가치관을 발표하기 때문에 발표 내용의 집중과 의사소통에 도움이 된다고 하였다. 셋째, 결혼 가치관을 상호 공유하는 과정에서 다양한 결혼 가치관을 접하게 되면서 수업 전보다 결혼에 관한 개방적이고 포용적인 자세를 갖게 되었다고 하였다. 본 연구는 가치관 교육의 메이커 교육의 적용 가능성을 확인하였기에 의미가 있으며, 추후 연구로 성 가치관, 가족 가치관 등 가정과 가치관 함양을 위한 다양한 메이커 교육 프로그램의 개발 및 효과를 살펴보는 연구를 제언한다.

The purpose of this study is to suggest a methodology called Maker Education as an alternative for better marriage values of adolescents and achievement of the education purpose. For doing this, I developed 6-lessons Home Economics maker education program through the 4th stage of PDIE. Classes were conducted for 240 freshmen students in high school, and the educational effects were examined through focus group interviews. The effects of maker classes drawn from the interview were as follows. First, maker classes helped students to define their own abstract marriage values specifically through activities to form nonmaterial values into cookies. Second, sharing classes based on storytelling helped students to focus on presentation contents and communicate with others because students present their own marriage values by mediating cookies. Third, students could have more open and receptive attitudes than the time when classes didn’t get started during a process sharing marriage values. This study was meaningful to identify probabilities that Maker Education would be applied to Value Education. This study suggests studies that examine the developments and effects of various Maker Education programs for suppositions such as a gender equality values and family values and better values in the future.
