The present study aimed to develop an university life adjustment program for freshman, called Can Do Week Program and to evaluate the effectiveness of it. The program was designed to help university freshmen with increasing academic motivation and venture spirit, and adjusting university life. For two weeks, various programs such as self-discovering camp, talk concert, campus tour, major commitment programs, and career exploration were offered to all freshm en at Humanities and Natural Science departments and of the H-university. Seniors were being mentors to freshman in their department. After ending the Can Do Week Program, a survey carried out targeting mentors and freshman. The subjects of this study were 65 mentors and 838 freshman. The survey was comprised of four categories: freshman’ s satisfaction with school life, with mentors, with program, and mentor’s satisfaction with program. The study results showed that the“ Can Do Week” program significantly enhanced the level of satisfaction with school life of freshmen. Also it was encouraged to develop programs for mentors of freshmen to improve self- Leadership.
