한국형 스웨덴 짐바르도 시간관 설문지 타당화 연구

A Validation Study of Korean Version of Swedish Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory

본 연구는 개인의 시간관을 측정하는 짐바르도 시간관 설문지(ZTPI)에 미래-부정 문항을 추가해 미래지향적 시간관을 미래-긍정과 미래-부정적 시간관으로 구분한 Swedish ZTPI(S-ZTPI)를 타당화하였다. 이를 위해 10대부터 70대까지 총 411명을 대상으로 요인분석을 실시하여 한국형 ZTPI의 5요인 구조를 확인하였는데, 요인부하량이 낮은 19문항을 제거하고 최종 45문항을 확정하여 신뢰도 분석결과, 모든 하위요인에서 적정한 수준의 문항내적합치도(.70~.84)를 보였다. 각 시간관의 특성을 분석하기 위해 자아존중감, 상태불안, 우울과의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 미래지향적 시간관은 자아존중감과 정적 상관을 보였으나 상태불안과 부적 상관을 보였다. 과거-부정, 현재-숙명 시간관은 자아존중감과 부적 상관을 보였으나 상태 불안, 우울과 정적 상관을 보였고, 현재-쾌락 시간관은 상태 불안, 우울과 정적 상관을 보였다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 한국에서는 6요인의 S-ZTPI가 적합하지 않았으며, 5요인의 한국형 ZTPI의 타당성을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 자아존중감, 우울, 불안 등의 심리학적 요인들과 시간관의 관계를 탐색함으로써 한국인의 시간관에 대한 이해도를 높였다.

The aim of the present study was to validate Swedish Zimbardo time perspective inventory (S-ZTPI). To validate this, factor analysis was conducted with the data of 411 ticipants. The present study identified 5 factors on Korean version of ZTPI. As a result of reliability analysis after confirming 45 items of the inventory, every subscale showed moderate level of internal consistency. To identify the character of each time perspective, correlation analysis between time perspectives, self-esteem, state anxiety, and depression was conducted. As a result, past-negative and present-fatalistic time perspective was negatively correlated with self-esteem and positively correlated with state anxiety and depression. Present-hedonic time perspective had positive correlation with state anxiety and depression. The present study identified that 6 factor of S-ZTPI was not fit in Korea and validity of 5 factor Korean version of ZTPI, and also enhanced comprehension about time perspective of Koreans by investigating the relationship between time perspective and psychological factors.
