간호대학생의 재난에 대한 인식, 태도 및 준비도가 재난간호 기본수행능력에 미치는 영향

The Effect of Disaster Awareness, Attitude, Preparedness on the Basic Competencies of Disaster Nursing among Nursing Students

본 연구는 간호대학생의 재난에 대한 인식, 태도 및 재난간호 준비도가 재난간호 기본수행능력에 미치는 영향을 파악해 봄으로써, 재난에 대응할 수 있는 간호역량을 갖추도록 재난간호 교육과 간호능력의 향상을 위한 기초자료 확보를 위하여 시도된 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상은 일 대학 간호학과 학생 228명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료는 기술통계와 t-검정, ANOVA를 이용한 차이검증, 상관관계 및 다중회귀분석 등으로 분석하였다. 대상자의 89.9%가 재난에 대해 보통 이상으로 알고 있었으며, 이 경우에 재난간호 기본수행능력이 유의하게 높았다(F=15.453, p<0.001). 재난에 대한 인식은 재난에 대한 태도와(r=0.195, p<.001), 태도는 재난간호 준비도와 (r=0.176, p<.001), 재난간호 준비도는 재난간호 기본수행능력과 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있었다(r=0.811, p<.001). 재난간호 기본수행능력에 영향을 미치는 요인은 재난에 대한 인식과 재난간호 준비도로 나타났으며, 설명력은 60.3%(F=131.659, p<0.001)였다. 본 연구결과 간호대학생들의 재난간호 수행능력을 증진시키기 위해서는 재난간호 준비를 보다 체계적으로 할 수 있도록 학년 단계별 체계화된 교육과정이 필요하며, 재난에 대해 높아진 인식을 재난간호로 구체화시키기 위한 모의상황을 설정하여 연습할 수 있는 실습교육을 고려할 필요가 있다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of disaster awareness, attitude toward disaster and disaster nursing preparedness on disaster nursing basic competencies of nursing students. The data was collected through self-report questionnaires from a convenience sample of 228 nursing students. It was analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and multiple regression. 89.9% of the subjects had disaster awareness more than usual, and in this case, the basic competencies of disaster nursing was significantly higher (F=15.453, p<0.001). Disaster nursing preparedness had a significant positive correlation with basic competencies of disaster nursing (r=0.811, p<.001). The Factors affecting the basic competencies of disaster nursing were in case of high disaster awareness (β=-0.26, p<.001) and disaster nursing preparedness (β=0.80, p<.001). It s explanation power was 63.3% (F=131.659, p<0.001). The results of this study suggest that in order to improve the ability of nursing students to perform disaster nursing, it is necessary to have a curriculum to make systematic preparation for disaster nursing.
