간호대학생의 감염예방 표준주의 지침 수행도에 미치는 영향요인 : 표준주의 지침에 대한 지식, 인식 및 감염관리 환경을 중심으로

Factors Influencing Performance on Standard Precautions of Infection Control in Nursing Students

본 연구는 간호대학생의 표준주의 지침 수행도에 미치는 영향요인을 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사 연구이며, 연구대상은 J 지역 간호대학에 재학 중인 3, 4년제 학생 중 1년 이상의 임상실습을 마친 305명으로 하였다. 연구결과 대상자의 표준주의에 대한 지식 점수는 36점 만점에 34.13점이었고, 인식 점수는 3점 만점에 2.58점, 감염관리 환경 점수는 5점 만점에 3.82점, 수행도 점수는 5점 만점에 4.38점으로 나타나 지식 점수에 비해 인식과 수행도 점수가 낮았다. 표준주의에 대한 지식영역에서 평균보다 높은 점수를 보인 하위영역은 환경관리, 치료기구 및 물품, 린넨, 직원안전, 손위생 순으로 나타났으며, 개인보호구, 호흡기 에티켓, 안전한 주사행위 등의 점수는 낮게 나타났으며, 이는 표준주의에 대한 수행도 점수에서도 동일하게 나타났다. 대상자의 표준주의에 대한 지식과 수행도에 있어서는 성별, 자상경험, 혈액 또는 체액 노출경험 등에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었으며, 표준주의에 대한 인식에 있어서는 일반적 특성에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없었고, 감염관리 환경은 자상경험, 혈액 또는 체액 노출경험, 감염관리 교육경험 등에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 간호대학생의 표준주의 수행도에 미치는 영향요인으로는 표준주의에 대한 지식, 인식과 감염관리 환경, 간호대학생의 성별, 자상경험 등이 유의적이며 표준주의 지침 수행도의 39.7%를 설명하는 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate factors influencing performance on standard precautions of infection control in nursing students. 305 nursing students at one university in J province participated and data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, t-test, hierarchical multiple regression. As a results, The level of students knowledge in the standard precautions was higher than performance. The lower levels of students knowledge, perception and performance on standard precautions included personal protective equipment, respiratory etiquette. There was a difference in the students performance of standard precautions according to their characteristics like gender, pierced wound history and experience to be exposed to clients blood or body fluid. Factors influencing performance on standard precautions of infection control were gender, pierced wound history, knowledge, perception and environment for infection control. Based on thefindi ngs of this study, it was found that knowledge, perception and environment for infection control have positive influences on their compliance with the standard precautions, so it would be necessary to improve the educational training to improve their knowledge and perception of the standard precautions.
